We are still awaiting the full guidance from England Squash prior to re-opening next week. Any updates will be shared when this comes through. The courts are now open for bookings between 8. If you have any questions about the return of squash then please contact me or mike.
Please book indoor pool sessions in that same way you do for the outdoor pool, via the member app. Adults can book for other members within their household but must specify names in the booking notes section. We are currently only allowed to open outside seating areas for food and drink — this includes the marquee with two sides open and the tables outside the Sports Bar and down to Wear Park Restaurant. Customers are not allowed to approach the bar or enter the building, other than to use the toilets or sports facilities. Face masks must be worn if you enter the building and everyone must check in via NHS Track and Trace or via a table host.
We now have to take the name of every individual not just one per group. The gym will be open from 7am — 9pm Monday to Friday and from 8am — 9pm at the weekend for Fitness Members. Fitness classes can only take place outside until 17th May when the Fitness Studio can open again.
Until that time, the temporary class timetable will be in place and is bookable via the member app from Friday morning. The spa is open from Monday 12th April for all treatments and appointments except Spa Days, which will not be available until we can welcome people to eat inside the restaurant again from May. We are sad to announce that our Spa Manager, Amber, is leaving after more than six years building up the spa from scratch! It offers world-class Elemis facials and massages along with manicures, pedicures, lash lifts, waxing and more…. For this Friday and Saturday, you can order a Restaurant Takeaway last orders Thursday at 5pm for Friday collection, or Friday 5pm for Saturday collection!
Order by 5pm the day before your collection day via the app or via the website — more on this coming soon. Takeaway Afternoon Tea — order by 5pm the day before via the website, to collect on Saturday or Sunday. Takeaway Sunday Roast — order by 5pm Saturday via the website, to collect on Sunday between 12pm and 5pm. While we have received confirmation that the squash courts will be re-opening from Monday 12th April, we are still waiting for guidance from England Squash! Apologies for the delay, but as soon as we hear anything, we will contact Rackets Members to let them know the latest information.
Golf and Tennis coaching starts next week with swimming lessons and squash coaching starting later this month! Contact James Temple mailto:james. Contact the Pro Shop mailto:proshop exetergcc. The booking system opens at 6. At present during the initial rush back to the pool, please do not book more than 3 sessions a week. If you book but then cannot attend, please ensure you cancel in advance. If you do not cancel and fail to turn up, you may not be able to book the following week. Sorry — but we want to ensure everyone can get a swim while only the outdoor pool is open.
Choose the lane that best matches your speed adult sessions. Please arrive ready to swim at the white gate in the car park five minutes before your session, where a lifeguard will meet you. Please bring a waterproof bag to store your dry clothes.
Changing rooms are closed until permitted to open from 12th April — please use the sun loungers to change and then shower quickly before entering the pool. During your swim please be respectful to other users and give people space. Please follow the swim direction s while lanes are in use. Sorry but backstroke and butterfly are not permitted at present. After your swim, please leave the pool straight away. Sorry but the shower is out of use after a session — however if you leave the pool before the end of the your session, you will be able to have a quick rinse before dressing — depending on s.
Toilets are open however we highly recommend you go to the toilet at home before your journey to the club. You are able to to use the sun loungers on the grass by the outdoor pool to relax after a swim for the duration of the next swim session. Sun loungers will only be cleaned at the end of each day not in between users. Thank you for bearing with us as we transition back to the full club re-opening in the weeks to come. We will open other facilities as and when permitted by the government Covid guidance.
Please ensure you read the Back To Tennis guidance sent by James last week before booking and keep to the guidelines during each visit. Return to Tennis Guide. You can book a tee time for next week from this Friday at 7. The first tee off will by from 8am on Monday 29th March.
If you have any queries, please contact Darren Everett at the Pro Shop — look out for later this week with more details. Return to Golf. You will have all received your subscription renewal notices by now and I hope you found my accompanying letter of interest. As we approach the re-opening of the Club, hopefully starting on 29 March, I would like to advise you that the Board has decided to offer a Club subscription credit for April as a thank you to all those members who have been loyal to the Club over the last year. To qualify for this you must renew prior to 31 March, and you will then be able to use all the facilities that are available, as soon as they re-open.
It does seem that we will be allowed to re-open the golf course, tennis courts and outdoor pool on 29 March, and follow up with further facilities being available from 12 April. More detailed information in this respect will be circulated very soon. All members will still be charged in full on renewal, and Golf and Rackets sports subscriptions will be payable for April, but the Club and Gym elements will be credited to your membership cards before the end of April.
Please find some information about how the tennis courts will re-open below along with an update on the return of squash and racketball.
Following advice from England Squash, we are looking towards 12th April as the date when indoor sports can return. The courts will be open between 8. It is also important that you add all players on each court to the booking. If you have any issues with this then please get in touch. Thursday Club Night will return from 1st April. The online booking process is still in place. There will be sessions starting at 6. If you cannot make it for any reason, then please cancel your space.
If you must pull out on the day, then it would be appreciated if you could message me directly so that I can invite someone on the waiting list. For those with current individual lessons, your coach will be in touch to arrange sessions. If you are interested in arranging some lessons, then please get in touch. Group coaching will also return. There are some limitations on group sizes and different payment terms so please be patient as we work through the sessions. Those who were enrolled on a course in January will receive information soon about the new dates.
Please keep an eye on your e-mails for more information about new coaching sessions including adult team training and details of a busy junior tournament programme for the summer.
The mixed league is also due to begin in April. Team captains will be in touch with players in the coming weeks. If you are interested in representing the club then please do not hesitate to get in touch. There will be no access through the club so please use the first car park on the right as you enter the club.
If there are no changes to restrictions, there will be an outdoor service from the Sports Bar from 12th April. Whilst we would love to get the whole club open again, we have to wait a little longer for our indoor facilities, along with food and drink. In the meantime, we have already started the process of bringing the club back to life ready to welcome you back for golf, tennis, the outdoor pool and outside classes from the end of March. You will all have received several detailed notifications from the Club over the past couple of days regarding the third Coronavirus Lockdown that came into force on Tuesday.
Yet again, Chris Jones and his team have done exemplary work in temporarily closing our facilities down, but always with a mind to re-opening at the earliest possible opportunity. As a direct result of the enforced closures, our finances are at a seriously low ebb.
Hopefully, the world will be in a much better place by then and we can begin the long road back to balancing the books. In terms of how your subscriptions have been affected by the three lockdown closures, I would like to summarise matters as follows. In April and May no subscription charges were levied and, for those members who pay annually, a two month credit has been applied to your s to reduce the cost of your membership renewal on 1 April Direct Debit payers were not charged at all during this period, and the only good news is that some of our outdoor sports reopened in mid-May and there was some limited free use of the facilities for a short time.
The Club was able to fully re-open in July and, again, there was a short period when some free use of the facilities was available until 1 August. For annual subscription payers, some further credit was added to your s during June and July. Further credits were also applied to the s of the annual payers.Adult looking hot sex Country Club Estates
